  1. I’ll be watching (and reviewing) RAW but have the Home Run Derby on DVR for tomorrow morning.

    1. I am choosing Mike Moutakasas, third baseman on the royals. I’m hoping Judge doesn’t because I am hoping he doesn’t mess up his swing.

  2. I just saw an update of the Paige/ADR situation. Some audio is on prowrestlingsheet

  3. Sanchez KNOCKING THE CRAP out of some of these balls.

Also, who’s dumb idea was it to put a home run derby in a domed stadium? Some of these shots hitting the top of the dome would be moonshots out of the park.

    1. I will be a good PTBN’er and use that link for all my upcoming formula and diaper purchases. And other stuff I buy.

          1. Yeah, there is a BJ’s about two miles away from us. They also sell gas that is 20 cents cheaper per gallon.

  4. An Ambrose/Rollins pairing leading to Ambrose turning could be refreshing. I’d take those two feuding with Cesaro & Sheamus.

  5. Raw sounds good but I’m watching the home run derby, Judge is about to put on a show

      1. That would be my guess now but bour is going to put some pressure on judge.

  6. Nice, going to the Red Sox Saturday and it appears Sale has been named the starter.

  7. I assume the Sasha/Bayley dissension starts here. Bayley costs them the match and Sasha brings up how she beat both of them by herself last week.

  8. I hope this is setting up for Dean to go heel soon. Seth will probably beat him in a #1 Contender’s Match for the IC Title

  9. Best home run derby, this is great. Poor bour just went up against the best

    1. Yeah tough go for Bour. Switching to the tournament format was a brilliant idea for sure, breathed new life into it.

      1. Oh yeah definitely love the new format. Right from the first year doing it with Frazier in 15 it has added drama and excitement.

  10. You need to listen to your advocate, he’s the one protecting you from me. Joe is the man.

    1. I think that is where it’s going. 4 big hosses kicking the shit out of each other. I can go for that.

  11. Joe is really fucking great on the mic. And Reigns was much, much better than usual too

    1. Lesnar was great too. I think the segment really worked because of him — dropping “shit,” saying things off mic … it just feels more “real” with him.

  12. Gonna spend a little more time over here. Scott’s blog is just too damn negative.

Oh there’s plenty to be critical about current WWE, but over there you can’t seemingly enjoy any little bit of the show without being drowned out by how awful and stupid everything is top to bottom.

      1. Example: I thought Roman was pretty good on the mic in that segment, and hell had more crowd support than usual, maybe because he came off as natural more than anything else. But all the blog could say was “Oh God Roman sucks out there, Joe’s promo’s are so much better. This Texas crowd is dumb, cheering Roman like that, what dummies!”

  13. Honestly, Dar is the least talented male on the roster. No charisma, dull in the ring, bad on the mic. He does not standout in anyway except for a goofy accent, which is why he is getting a bit of a push because the WWE’s owner is old and weird.

    1. He’s so young, feels like they speculated like he’d be this hot prospect and he clearly isn’t. Then doing the U.K. belt stuff really buried him on the depth chart.

      1. Meaning a whole bunch of other guys with British accents came onboard and are much better

      2. Of all the UK guys to pick, they chose him. He never stood out in RevPro or ICW, either.

    2. Agreed with this so much. Horrible.

Plus he beat Ho Ho Lun in the cruiserweight tournament.

  14. Judge power rankings
    1. Aaron
    2. Harry Stone
    3. Judy
    4. Jeff Jones
    5. Mills Lane

    1. Nope, we can start tossing some out for sure! We can do July PPVs to keep in line with what we have been doing or go on another path?

        1. I’m going to nominate Fully Loaded 2000, unless Benoit in the main event is too much of a turn off.

      1. Any thought to other shows that might highlight guys for the Top 100 WWE wrestlers list? Can be PPV’s or SNME, Prime Time’s, RAW’s or Smackdowns.

          1. I say Fully Loaded 2000. I went through most of the lead up and was going to watch the PPV itself.

  15. So far, I am thoroughly disappointed in Prime Day deals… much like I am every Prime Day. I did find a potential Christmas/Birthday present for my best friend, but that’s pretty far off…

  16. In this episode of the Place to Be Podcast, Justin, Scott and Kelly Nelson are kicking off summer in the city as they take a look back at the 6/14/86 Madison Square Garden house show!

The boys discuss a flat opening match, a terrible match between Pedro Morales and Iron Sheik, the continued attempt to disguise Dan Spivey as Barry Windham, brutal slop between George Steele and Nikolai Volkoff, more MSG midget action, Bruno Sammartino back in action, Chris Christie: Sports Talk Host, fat George Wells, a fiery fistfight between King Tonga and John Studd, the MSG return of Harley Race, another shitty finish to close the show and more, including end of show awards!

So fire up this action-packed episode and join Scott, Justin & Kelly as it’s time for another edition of the PTB Podcast!

    1. I’m pretty sure I looked at this card and felt it was too shitty for even me to review.

    1. Agreed 100%. Absolutely stunning work.

It got to me in a major way. I felt so genuinely happy to see Kurt’s changes that I left it not wanting to see him wrestle again and risk further injury. It’s awesome to see him playing with his kids and having hat big goofy grin back again.
