MARCH 4
1991
WWF Prime Time Wrestling featured some of the most bizarre segments in the history of the company. Paul Bearer showed up in the Prime Time studio wearing scrubs and started pulling random body parts out of a dummy, which caused Bobby Heenan to vomit. Later, they brought out a “dead” Lord Alfred Hays as Bearer attempted to demonstrate his mortician work, while Vince McMahon looked on approvingly in a lime green wind suit. Also on the show, Vince found a box of “Patriot Defense Condoms” in Bobby Heenan’s bag and quipped, “I guess you have the same problem Saddam Hussein had. You don’t know when to pull out.” We also saw the Big Boss Man’s “mother” finally get some sense of retribution, showing up in the Prime Time studio to attack Heenan with her purse. The show drew a 3.0 rating.
1992
All Japan Pro Wrestling drew a new building record of 16,300 fans. In the top two matches, Jumbo Tsuruta and Akira Taue defeated Steve Williams and Terry Gordy to win the World Tag Team Titles in a ***1/2 match while Stan Hansen successfully defended the AJPW Triple Crown against Mitsuharu Misawa in a ***3/4 match which marked Misawa’s last unsuccessful bid for the title.

SMW attempted to recreate the Russian flag angle from 1986 UWF when The Gangstas buried Bob Armstrong under a Malcolm X flag at the conclusion of a ***1/4 match against Tracy Smothers and Scott Armstrong.
1996
WWF Monday Night RAW aired a show taped on February 25 from Cleveland, OH. In the main event, Shawn Michaels faced the 1-2-3 Kid in a *** match. Also on the show, Goldust parodied Piper’s Pit in a controversial segment where he played the bagpipe while making orgasm noises. This week’s Billionaire Ted skit primarily focused on Ted Turner quotes that wrestling fans would not care about at all, but was saved by a parody of a live television slip-up on Monday Nitro the previous week, where Miss Elizabeth was to handcuff Hulk Hogan to the ring ropes but fumbled the cuffs, requiring Hogan to do it himself while the camera zoomed in. So here, we cut to the Huckster saying, “Somebody help me, brother! I helped a lady handcuff me and I can’t get out!” The show drew a strong 3.6 rating, and you can watch it on the WWE Network.
1997
CMLL held a card at Arena Coliseo highlighted by Atlantis facing Black Warrior in a ****1/4 match.
