Hard-Traveling Fanboys Podcast #94: The Longbook Hunters — Black Panther: The Client

Mild-mannered reporters by day, Greg Phillips and Nick Duke share an intense love of comic books that has made them the Hard-Traveling Fanboys.

Over the course of their travels through comicdom, they have encountered numerous stories via the wonder of trade paperbacks and graphic novels. Once a month, Nick and Greg will review one of those collections in The Longbook Hunters.

This week, the boys kick off Black Panther Month with a delve into the first volume of writer Christopher Priest’s landmark tenure on the character, 1998’s Black Panther: The Client! Along with artist Mark Texeira, Priest introduced a whole new generation to T’Challa. Will Greg and Nick love it through modern eyes the way critics did in the ’90s?
