All Japan continued the Championship Carnival in Kyoto before a sellout 6,600 fans. In the main event, Mitsuharu Misawa defeated Toshiaki Kawada in a ****1/2 match.

SMW television featured some killer promos, as Kevin Sullivan was interviewed in the dark by Dutch Mantell in his weekly “Down And Dirty” segment and Dirty White Boy cut an on-location promo in the woods to train for his upcoming Tennessee Chain Match against Tracy Smothers. The highlight was an interview with Arn Anderson and the Rock and Roll Express, where Arn claimed, “The more I get hurt, the more I like it. Some girl in St. Louis instilled that in me one night.” Also on the show, Bobby Eaton defeated Tim Horner to win the SMW TV Title.

USWA television had a WWF presence, as Shawn Michaels sent in a poolside promo to hype a match with Jeff (or “Jeffrey”, as he called him) Jarrett.
WCW Worldwide aired a show taped on March 2 in Macon, GA. In the main event, the Hollywood Blonds (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman) defeated Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas to win the WCW World Tag Team Titles in a **** match.

WWF Superstars included final hype for Wrestlemania IX. We saw a music video for Wrestlemania, which was made interesting by how many stars were in the video that were not on the show. In addition, Hacksaw Jim Duggan gave an inspired promo in a lumberyard where he said he was tired of feeling sorry for himself, he was getting a new 2 x 4 and he was coming after Yokozuna to get revenge.
1994
All Japan continued the Championship Carnival with a show in Matsumoto, as Toshiaki Kawada defeated Johnny Ace in a *** match.
AJW held the Queendom show in Yokohama, which included an all-time classic ****3/4 match as the main event, where Aja Kong and Bull Nakano faced Akira Hokuto and Shinobu Kandori.
1995
WWF Monday Night RAW aired a show taped in Stockton, CA, on March 13. In the main event, the long-running Bret Hart-Owen Hart feud was blown off, as Bret defeated his brother in a No Holds Barred match. The rest of the show consisted of videos and sit-down interviews to hype Wrestlemania XI, and you can watch it on the WWE Network.
