*Didn’t think they made a show for Christmas as I prepared to watch the New Year’s Episode so I’ll double dip this week. Enjoy
*Goldust w/Cody Rhodes vs. Jack Swagger w/Antonio Ceasaro & Zeb Coulter
Zeb is carrying signs with him that says Press 1 for English, Press 2 for I.N.S. These two had a good little series on ECW in 2009 back in the day, just below Goldust’s series with Sheamus. Swagger overpowers to start, until Goldust hitting an atomic drop and running elbow, driving Swagger to the outside. Miz mentions that the Rhodes Brothers could’ve lost the titles at TLC without being pinned…despite it being an elimination match. Goldust chops away at Swagger and then works the arm. Miz mentions that Goldust gets better every time he comes back and Josh notes that Cody calls him the Benjamin Button of the WWE. Swagger rolls outside to regroup and Goldust slams his arm on the announce table twice as we go to a COMMERCIAL BREAK. We come back and Goldie is still working an armbar but Swagger breaks it and sidesteps a clothesline. Swagger follows Goldust to the outside and drives him into the apron for two. Swagger works over Goldust in the corner and hits a short-arm clothesline for two. Swagger hits a powerslam for two. Swagger goes to a chinlock, and Goldust fights out and runs right into a back elbow for two. Swagger knees Goldust in the corner repeatedly and then hits a legdrop for two. Swagger works move #424, armbar, Goldust gets out of it with a backslide for two. Swagger goes back to the arm, but Goldust quickly fights out of it and heart punches his way out of it. That was actually his finisher when he started in 95. Both are slow to get up and Swagger runs into a spinebuster and then pounds away in the corner, which Swagger tries to turn into a atomic drop, but Goldust hits a sunset flip for two. Goldust goes for a moonsault, but Swagger trips him up and then goes to the Anklelock, Patriot Lock by Swagger. Ceasaro holds the ropes back from Goldust, and Cody and Antonio go at it on the outside and Goldust hits the Final Cut for the win. Shocking news, Goldust has awesome match. 1 for 1.
*Natalya & Bella Twins vs. AJ Lee, Tamina & Aksana
So over Christmas Break I watched Total Divas with my fiancé and while I found it an enjoyable enough waste of time, she loved it and when I was watching Raw this week ran in the room when I told her the divas were on. And she’s now a huge Daniel Bryan and Usos fan. She doesn’t like Tyson Kidd though, saying that he looks stupid. Brie starts with AJ, and I can’t imagine what it’d be like to review Bella Twin matches before the boob job. Brie works a headlock and tags out to Nikki, and Aksana quickly tags in. Natalya rolls up Aksana quickly and then slams her for two. Aksana tags out to Tamina. Tamina gets Natalya in the corner pounds away and then hits a Samoan drop for two. AJ tags in, skips and covers Natalya for two and then a neckbreaker for two. Tamina comes back in, but misses an elbow and Nikki tags in and hits a flying headscissors and follows it with a bulldog, but AJ breaks the cover, but Brie hits her with an X-Factor, but Aksana clotheslines Brie, and Natalya Thesz Presses Aksana before she gets hammered by Tamina, and then Nikki rolls up Tamina for the win. Eh, good enough, quick paced tag and I’m always a sucker for the cluster-fuck ending to a six man tag where everyone hits a move. 2 for 2
*Kofi Kingston vs. Fandango w/Summer Rae
Headlock sequence to start and Kofi takes advantage with a hammerlock. Fandango then works the arm and Kofi hits a dropkick and Fandango rolls out of the ring to regroup and throws his shirt at Fandango and Kofi throws it into the crowd, and Fandango charges, but Kofi moves and throws Fandango out of the ring and follows with a plancha (or tope, a dive over the top rope, whichever one that is) as we go to a COMMERCIAL BREAK. We come back and Kofi runs into an elbow from Fandango. Fandango whips Kofi into the post and then follows him out and runs Kofi into the apron. Fandango works the arm for a little bit and then pounds away on Kofi. Fandango whips Kofi into the corner, but Kofi hits a springboard dropkick for two. Kofi with some elbows and a roll-up for two. Roll-up sequence with each guy getting three near-falls and then Kofi hits the S.O.S. for two. Kofi off the top with a chop and follows with the Boom Drop. Kofi signals for the Trouble in Paradise, Fandango ducks and hits a kick to Kofi’s head for two. Fandango goes for a superplex, but Kofi pushes Fandango off, but then Summer Rae distracts Kofi, allowing Fandango to crotch Kofi. Fandango hits a superplex followed by the top rope legdrop for the win. Nice back and forth match, with a real good ending. 3 for 3
Final Thoughts: Really good show with three good matches, with the Goldust-Swagger match being really fun.

*Kofi Kingston vs. Damien Sandow
Lots of Kofi on Main Event. Damien lets us know he doesn’t make New Year’s resolutions. He lets us know this year he will win the WWE Heavyweight title. I want to believe you Sandow, but with just one belt I don’t like your chances. Kofi works the arm to start for a while. Sandow fights out of it, but Kofi gets the arm-bar again. Kofi hits a cross-body to Sandow’s back and then goes back to the arm for some reason. Kofi jumps a lot to avoid Sandow and goes for the Trouble in Paradise, but Sandow sees it and ducks out of the ring as we go to a COMMERCIAL BREAK. We come back and Kofi is still working the arm. Sandow gets out of it and runs Kofi into the turnbuckle. Sandow works in a headlock. Jesus the Miz is a 9 time champ and Kofi is a 10 time champ. Kofi charges Sandow in the corner, but Sandow dumps him out of the ring as we go to a COMMERCIAL BREAK. Sandow hits a slam and then hits the Cubito Aequet for two and then locks in a leg scissors around Kofi’s head. Kofi fights out of it and Sandows rolls to the outside, but Kofi hits a somersault dive onto Sandow and rolls Sandow in for two. Kofi hits the Boom Drop and goes for the Trouble in Paradise, but misses as usual. Sandow whips Kofi into the corner, but he comes back with a springboard dropkick for two. Sandow hits a legsweep and then hits a reverse sharpshooter, but Kofi gets the ropes. Kofi with some punches and goes up top and hits a cross-body for two. Sandow hits the You’re Welcome and gets the win. Great match, over 20 minutes and by the end of the match the crowd was buying every near-fall as was I. Easy point here, 1 for 1.
*Promo for Batista, followed by a recap of Brock coming back on Raw. I know it doesn’t look like it, but I want Dave/Brock at WrestleMania. According to Heyman, Brock came back to be the one World champ. Heyman says Brock will be on Raw and wants to do something “old school.”
*Funkadactyls vs. Rosa Mendez & Alicia Fox
Naomi starts with some dropkicks on Rosa. Rosa slaps Naomi’s ass, and Naomi responds with a slap to the face. Naomi hits a slam and then a legdrop. Cameron hits a suplex, but then Rosa tags out to Alicia. Cameron hits an armdrag and then a flying headscissors. Naomi springboards in for two. Naomi slides to the apron, but Alicia kicks her off. Alicia hits a northern lights suplex for two, and then tags in Rosa. Rosa hits some slaps and then tags back in Alicia who comes in and slaps Naomi’s ass. Well it is a big target. Alicia gets a chinlock and then boots Cameron off the apron, but runs right into a butt bump by Naomi who covers for the win. If I made this sound interesting it wasn’t. Alicia and the Funkadactlys are okay, but Rosa should just do her little salsa dance on the apron and stop there. 1 for 2
*Oh great, MizTV. He introduces Brodus Clay, who is no longer the Funkasauras. He comes out to new music and wearing a suit. Brodus right away threatens Miz and says he doesn’t need Tensai anymore. Miz talks about how Brodus blames everything on Xavier Woods. Miz asks if he called his momma and Xavier answer the phone. Brodus tells Miz not to talk about his momma. Brodus talks about how his match at WrestleMania was canceled because of Tensai and the Funkadactyls, somehow. Brodus talks about how Tensai sucks, but then he runs out and they go at it. Tensai knocks Brodus out of the ring. Miz wishes everyone a happy new year. Brodus actually showed some good heel charisma here, but if he feuds with Tensai, I don’t see it getting very over. 2 for 3
Final Thoughts: Well the first match is damn good and well worth the 45 minute watch, especially considering it takes up half the show.
Final Final Thoughts: Two really good shows, with Kofi-Sandow and Goldust-Swagger definitely standing out.
