*Divas Title Match: (C) AJ Lee w/Tamina vs. Natalya

Well this should be an upgrade over the women’s match from last week as these are two of the top 3 women, with Kaitlyn somewhere in the mix. According to Riley this is the first ever Divas title match on Main Event. Tony Chimel even does fancy ring announcements, so you know it’s a big deal. Back and forth action to start. AJ reminds Josh and Riley of Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games. I don’t remember AJ ever using a bow and arrow, but again I sometimes zone out during women’s matches. Tyson Kidd is watching in the back. Natalya powers out of a sunset flip attempt, but AJ catches Natalya in the corner, but Natalya comes back with a slam and then bull rushes AJ into the corner. Natalya goes for the sharpshooter, but AJ gets to the outside and regroups. Natalya chases her on the outside but Tamina blocks her and AJ tries a sneak attack, but Natalya throws her into the barricade. Natalya goes up top, but AJ pulls Natalya off the turnbuckle as we take a COMMERCIAL BREAK. We come back and AJ is in control with a headlock. Natalya gets out, but AJ hits a spinkick. Wow first Total Diva comment, can’t believe it took this long. AJ tosses Natalya out and Tamina puts the boots to Natalya. AJ covers for two. AJ goes for a headlock with a body scissors. AJ skips around the ring, and Natalya rolls her up for two. Natalya goes for a tilt-a-whirl slam, but AJ turns it into a DDT and covers for two. AJ goes for the Black Widow, but Natalya hip tosses out of and then hits a suplex and clothesline for two. Natalya again goes for the Sharpshooter, but AJ kicks her in the face and rolls her up for two. Natalya gets the Sharpshooter, and drags her into the middle of the ring, but Tamina comes into break the hold and give Natalya the DQ victory. After the match AJ puts the Black Widow back on. Real good Divas match, easy 1 for 1.

*Did you Know John Cena has OVERCOME THE ODDS and has more followers on Twitter than any other athlete from any sport, except for the NBA. Raw recap featuring Big Show beating the crap out of Randy Orton. Still don’t know why Orton was against the Rhodes Brothers, heels shouldn’t look valiant, otherwise they’ll eventually get cheered. See Randy Orton in 2010.

*Kane gives an interview about how he’s evolving and can use power as a tool.

*Tyson Kidd vs. Justin Gabriel

Oh no, the Tyson Kidd-Justin Gabriel team explodes. Tyson works the arm to start, Gabriels fights out of it and neither guy gets much of an advantage. Test of strength, with Gabriel winning, but then Kidd flips out of that and goes back to an armbar. Kidd hits a headscissors out of the ring to Gabriel and then headstands over the steps, but Gabriel follows that with a flying clothesline and then hits a springboard cross-body for two. Gabriel works a headlock. Kidd goes for a German suplex, but Gabriel reverses and then hits a wheelbarrow throw for two. Gabriel kicks Kidd into the corner and then goes for a corner charge, but Kidd moves and Gabriel stops himself on the second rope and Kidd joins him up there and hits a second rope Russian legsweep for two. Gabriel goes up top, but Kidd crotches him on the top. Kidd goes up top and hits a top rope hurricanranna, but Gabriel rolls through and rolls up Kidd for the win. Good high-flying match, that I wouldn’t have minded going a little longer. 2 for 2

*Another Raw recap, this time about Cena getting attacked by Del Rio. During the last match Riley mentioned he can’t wait to see who is named the captains for the Survivor Series matches, but is there going to be one? After Raw I thought we were headed for a 6 on 6 match, but they’ve already announced Punk and Bryan against Rowan and Harper. I guess you can do something like Shield and Kane against Usos and Rhodes Brothers maybe?

*Union Jacks w/Jinder Mahal vs. Primetime Players w/R-Truth

I don’t know why they have the heels dress up in English fans, and of course they get cheered. Drew starts with Darren Young and hits a dropkick, but Young hits an inverted atomic drop and then a suplex. Young tags in O’Neil and he hits a big powerslam for two. O’Neil sets up McIntyre on the ropes and pounds away. O’Neil suplexes Young on Drew for two. Slater tags in and Young gets sent into the post. Slater slams Young’s arm into the ring steps and then hits a neckbreaker for two. Drew tags in and continues to work the arm. Drew hits a suplex for two. Drew works the arm some more. Josh Matthews lets us know that Jinder Mahal considers himself the fun-loving, class-clown of 3MB. That’s a point right there. Slater and McIntyre hit a double slingshot suplex for two. 3MB keep Young in their part of the ring, until Young hits a back body drop and tags into O’Neil. O’Neil runs through Drew, with a big boot and then barks. Titus hits a fallaway slam, but it’s broken up by Slater. Young gets thrown out by Slater, Slater gets clotheslined out by Titus. Jinder gets on the apron, but gets taken off by R-Truth. Drew McIntyre hits the Future Shock DDT (remember when that was used to win the IC title?) and Slater follows that up with a springboard twisting splash and gets the win! 3MB wins, 3MB wins! Definite point since we get a 3MB win. 3 for 3.

Final Thoughts: Really good show, as there are good matches, nothing mind-blowing. Divas match was the best match and probably the best Divas match they’ve had in a while. Fun note, as I finished this up my Hulu went straight to a Superstars and it’s from May 21, 2009, when Superstars still had big names and the main event of CM Punk and Chris Jericho. Good to know all Superstars, since 2009 are on Hulu.
