Welcome to PTBN The Year That Was… ! This project is open to anyone and everyone and is designed to be an immersive deep dive into a given year of North American (and slightly beyond) pro wrestling!
- As we get underway, we will be taking suggestions and nominations of the best and worst of the selected year (matches, promos, angles, segments) in chronological order and keep a master list. The key is not to watch every show in full, but just what is considered worthwhile to watch from both a real good, real bad or real important standpoint.
- Once we have built up a backlog for January, we can begin to watch, grade, track and discuss. Viewings can be done at your leisure and on your own or with others in the group, however you want to approach it!
- The message board will contain discussion threads for each month and you are encouraged to share your thoughts and stimulate conversation.
- We will be focusing on North America for this project, heavily slanted to WWF/E, WCW and ECW with other territories and independent promotions mixed in. We also may mix in the very top rated content from outside of North America as well, but it will be limited.
