1991
WWF Prime Time Wrestling aired a segment where Brother Love “healed” a man who was blind and in a wheelchair by putting his hand on his face and screaming, “REJOICE!” repeatedly.

1992
Stan Hansen defeats Jumbo Tsuruta to win the AJPW Triple Crown in a ***1/2 match in Chiba. This was the final Triple Crown match of Jumbo Tsuruta’s career.

1995
WCW Pro was a show of music videos, as they featured a cheesy one on Alex Wright and a slightly less cheesy one on Vader to hype his feud with Hulk Hogan. The show drew a 1.7 rating.

WCW Saturday Night aired a show taped on January 11 at Atlanta’s Center Stage Theatre. In the main event, Randy Savage defeated WCW TV Champion Arn Anderson in a *** match where the TV title was only on the line for the first 10 minutes of the match. This was Savage’s first televised competitive match since coming to WCW. The show drew a 2.8 rating, its highest in months.

SMW held Super Saturday Night Fever in Knoxville, TN in front of 2,000 fans. In the main event, the returning Heavenly Bodies faced The Gangstas in a wild match that spilled into the parking lot. Also on the show, Jerry Lawler won the SMW Heavyweight Title, defeating “Dirty White Boy” Tony Anthony after Buddy Landell interfered.

1998
ECW television featured a video of Al Snow to The Prodigy’s “Breathe”, which presented the “Head” gimmick as a phenomenon. In reality, ECW distributed the heads to fans to hold up during Al Snow’s entrance.

1999
WCW aired Thunder, which was taped on January 21 in Indianapolis, IN. In the main event, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash faced Rey Misterio Jr. and Konnan. Rey and Konnan were attacked by the NWO in a post-match angle, with Hogan whipping Rey with a belt while Hall and Nash sung The Allman Brothers’ “Whipping Post”. The show drew a 4.2 rating.
