AAA held a card highlighted by Rey Misterio Jr., Winners and Super Calo facing Heavy Metal, Picudo and Psicosis in a ***1/2 match. The main event was a ***1/4 match where Eddy Guerrero teamed with El Hijo del Santo and Konnan to face Los Hermanos Dinamita (Cien Caras, Mascara Ano 2000 and Universe 2000).
1998
On a New Japan Pro Wrestling card in Sapporo, Jushin Liger regained the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship from Shinjiro Otani in what appeared to be an outstanding match. Sadly, only 9 minutes of the 23-minute encounter aired on television, and the match has yet to surface anywhere in full.
1999
Toryumon held the King of Dragon card in Yokohama, which was headlined by one of the best and most memorable matches in company history, as the Great Sasuke faced Magnum Tokyo in a **** match.
