As you can see, we ate a lot of food. Needless to say, when I got home, I went on a diet! Our other meals were “quick service” meals, and on our meal plan we also got a snack everyday. Our snacks, most often, were the Micky Mouse shaped ice cream bars. It was very convenient to be able to sit down, scan our armband, and then order what we wanted without having to worry about prices. Of course we still had to pay gratuity out-of-pocket. So, to keep things convenient, I highly recommend you carry the cash to pay for tips. The receipts all had suggestions for tips based on what percent you wanted to give.
If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World, I strongly suggest buying a meal plan in advance and making reservations. Some restaurants has large wait times for non reservations. We still had to wait a while at Teppan Edo, with our reservations. Keep in long that you will need to get to the restaurant 15-30 minutes before your reservation time.
