Steve’s Wonderful Lists of Disney: Songs #50-31

We start to get to the cream of the crop as I now unveil #50-31 of the greatest Disney songs in history:

50. Belle (Beauty and the Beast)

This fun song that is performed by Belle and the townspeople is a really good song to really kick the film off.

49. The Dwarfs Yodel Song (The Silly Song) (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)

This song that the dwarfs and Snow White sing is truly silly, but it is still one of the most memorable songs in history.

48. The Unbirthday Song (Alice in Wonderland)

This song that the March Hare and Mad Hatter sing to celebrate their and Alice’s “Unbirthdays” is a fun and memorable song.

47. Poor Unfortunate Souls (The Little Mermaid)

This song that Ursula sings as she manipulates Ariel into giving her voice up is a really good song for the villain to sing.

46. Pink Elephants on Parade (Dumbo)

This song that is heard as Dumbo and Timothy are drunk and hallucinating is a very memorable, albeit quite out there moment.

45. Friends on the Other Side (The Princess and the Frog)

This song that Dr. Facilier sings as he turns Naveen into a frog is a fun and catchy song not often heard from a villain.

44. Everybody Wants to Be a Cat (The Aristocats)

Despite some questionable things in this song, this is still a very memorable song and the main reason this film is remembered.

43. Cruella De Vil (One Hundred and One Dalmatians)

This song that Roger comes up with on the spot to make fun of Cruella is a solid and fine song.

42. Zero to Hero (Hercules)

This song that is performed as Hercules grows in stature as a hero is a fun and good song for the Muses.

41. Be Prepared (The Lion King)

This epic song that Scar and the hyenas sing as they prepare their plan is a very memorable song and one of the best for a villain to sing.

40. Reflection (Mulan)

This song that Mulan sings as she reflects on her life is a pretty song for her to sing in the film, and it would become a breakout hit for Christina Aguilera.

39. So This is Love (Cinderella)

This song that Cinderella and the Prince sing as they fall in love is a pretty and beautiful duet for them to sing.

38. Shiny (Moana)

This song that Tamatoa sings as he puts himself over while fighting off Maui is a pretty fun song given the situation of the moment.

37. Gaston (Beauty and the Beast)

This song that Lefou and the townspeople sing as they sing the praises of Gaston is a very fun and memorable song.

36. Prince Ali (Aladdin)

This song that Genie sings as he introduces the world to Prince Ali is a pretty good song for him to sing while keeping up Aladdin’s charade.

35. Show Yourself (Frozen II)

This song that Elsa sings as she discovers the source of the voice calling her is another very powerful song for her as she accepts her destiny.

34. You Can Fly (Peter Pan)

This song that is sung as Peter takes the Darling children with him to Neverland is a pretty iconic and memorable song.

33. I Wanna Be Like You (The Jungle Book)

This fun song that Louie sings as he tries to make a bargain with Mowgli until Baloo and Bagheera arrive is still one of the most fun and catchy songs in Disney history.

32. Can You Feel the Love Tonight? (The Lion King)

This ballad that is heard as Simba and Nala fall in love is a fine song for the moment, and it would also become one of the biggest hits of Elton John’s career.

31. Baby Mine (Dumbo)

This sad ballad that is performed as Dumbo and Mrs. Jumbo have a brief reunion is one of the emotional songs in Disney history.
