Between the Sheets #192 (March 20-26, 2002)

Kris & David are guestless this week as we discuss the week that was March 20-26, 2002, a Patron-requested week. We talk about the first ever WWF Draft, including all of the reasoning behind each move, the behind the scenes matters influencing, everything, and lots of information that most people haven’t heard before. We play all of the clips of the draft picks from RAW including some great Vince McMahon moments, especially with Kurt Angle & The Rock. We also look at how people in developmental will be involved in this, as well as the incoming Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio. We then move to Japan, talking about Toshiaki Kawada tearing ligaments in his knee, Antonio Inoki announcing the Inoki Dojo in Los Angeles, Naomichi Marufuji and injuring his knee, and more. All that plus Josh Barnett’s rise to stardom in UFC after his victory over Randy Couture, the first annual IWC Super Indy tournament starring Low-Ki’s bludgeoning of Kid Sensation, Dale Torborg bringing the Demon to the Florida Marlins, talk of the future Jerry Jarrett promotion as well as other post-WCW startups, and much more.
