1993

The culture wars found a home in SMW, as Tracy Smothers cut a promo explaining that the Confederate flag represented the ability to say hello to people in a nearby store, leave one’s house unlocked and not lose anything and having your children join a church instead of a street gang. Also on the show, Ricky Morton faced Bobby Eaton in a match that ended in chaos when the Stud Stable, Heavenly Bodies and Rock and Roll Express found themselves in a three-way brawl.

WCW Worldwide treated us to a short but novel match when the Rock & Roll Express teamed with Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas against the Heavenly Bodies and Hollywood Blonds. The match was taped on February 9 in Gainesville, GA.
