We continue on revealing my list of the greatest Disney Villains with #40-31:

40. Captain Gantu (Lilo and Stitch)
Tasked to bring Stitch back to space after he escapes to Earth, Gantu nearly succeeds only for Stitch to escape and save Lilo as Gantu is forced into retirement for endangering Lilo’s life.

39. Lucifer (Cinderella)
The nasty pet cat of Lady Tremaine, he spends his time chasing down Cinderella’s mice friends and antagonizing Bruno the dog only for Bruno to finally get his revenge by scaring Lucifer out of the tower window.

38. Fidget (The Great Mouse Detective)
The right hand man of Professor Ratigan, Fidget is tasked with kidnapping Olivia which he does though he occasionally draws the ire of his boss to the point that he is tossed into the river as they are escaping from Buckingham Palace.

37. Man (Bambi)
While never actually seen in the film, Man is an ever present threat to the forest as they kill Bambi’s mother and later return for another hunt though they cause a fire that destroys the forest.

36. John Silver (Treasure Planet)
The cook of the RMS Legacy who leads a pirate brigade to find Treasure Planet, Silver eventually changes his ways after becoming close to Jim and he helps the crew escape the planet before sailing away.

35. Lyle Rourke (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
The commander of a group of specialists hired to help Milo find Atlantis, he betrays them by wanting to bring the crystal to the surface to sell it only to be turned into a crystal himself and shattered into thousands of pieces by Milo.

34. Flotsam and Jetsam (The Little Mermaid)
These pet eels of Ursula lure Ariel to their master’s lair and they do their best to prevent Ariel and Eric from kissing, and they try to drown Eric only for Ursula to inadvertently kill them when Ariel blinds her.

33. Madame Medusa (The Rescuers)
This greedy pawn shop owner kidnaps Penny and forces her to find the Devil’s Eye diamond as she intends to keep it for herself, but she is thwarted by Bernard and Miss Bianca as she is left on the remains of her steamboat being stalked by her own crocodiles.

32. Percival C. McLeach (The Rescuers Down Under)
This ruthless poacher kidnaps Cody in an effort to find the rare golden eagle Marahute, but he too is thwarted by Bernard and Miss Bianca as he falls down a waterfall to his death.

31. Edgar Balthazar (The Aristocats)
The loyal butler to Madame Bonfamille, he turns when he tries to get rid of the cats to gain his boss’ money though he is stopped by O’Malley and the alley cats as he is locked in a box being shipped to Timbuktu.
