We continue on with the rankings of the heroes and princes with #40-31:
40. Jim Hawkins (Treasure Planet)
The young rebel turned pirate looks to prove himself and make something of his life which he does when he finds the mysterious Treasure Planet, and he becomes a real man and proves himself to his mother.
39. Milo Thatch (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
Considered an outcast due to his belief in the lost empire of Atlantis, Milo leads an expedition and ultimately finds the lost empire where he decides to stay and learn more while also having fallen in love with the princess of Atlantis.
38. Aladar (Dinosaur)
The young Iguanodon raised by lemurs joins a group of dinosaurs heading to the Nesting Grounds, and after being stalked by a Carnotaurus he fights back against it and saves the dinosaurs before reaching the Grounds.
37. Pinocchio (Pinocchio)
The little wooden puppet brought to life faces many temptations and nearly succumbs to a few of them, but he redeems himself by sacrificing himself to save Geppetto and becomes a real boy.
36. Gurgi (The Black Cauldron)
This weird character wants to serve Taran and help him on his journey though he does chicken out a few times, but he comes through in the end when he sacrifices himself to the Black Cauldron to the point that Taran gives up his sword to save Gurgi.
35. Thomas O’Malley (The Aristocats)
The street smart alley cat helps Duchess and the kittens return to Paris though he clearly falls in love with Duchess, and he and the other alley cats save them from Edgar as he is welcomed into the family.
34. Pacha (The Emperor’s New Groove)
The leader of his village that is set to be destroyed by Kuzco ends up helping Kuzco after he is transformed into a llama, and despite some early tension the two end up working together to restore Kuzco and he keeps his word by sparing Pacha’s village.
33. Jake (The Rescuers Down Under)
The Australian representative of the R.A.S. helps Bernard and Bianca in finding Cody though he is clearly smitten with Bianca, but he shows Bernard respect when he saves everyone.
32. Bagheera (The Jungle Book)
The black panther who watches over Mowgli for most of his life makes it his mission to return Mowgli to the man-village despite Mowgli’s reservations, and he works with Baloo to help Mowgli from those that want to kill him and eventually Mowgli goes to the village.
31. Baloo (The Jungle Book)
This fun-loving bear is content with having Mowgli stay in the jungle with him despite Bagheera’s objections, but Baloo shows his worth by helping fight off Shere Khan and he ultimately lets Mowgli go to the man-village.
