*Sin Cara & Los Matadores w/El Torito vs. The Shield
I don’t know what’s better: this or the Wyatts. Seriously, I can’t wait for that six-man tag at Elimination Chamber. Reigns now has a white compression shirt under his SWAT vest. Ambrose starts with Fernando. Fernando gets some offense and tags in Diego. Ambrose tags out to Rollins and the Matadores and Sin Cara keep up the attack. Lots of quick tags here by the faces, getting a few two counts on Rollins. Rollins tags in Reigns, who gets a monster pop and he runs through a Matador and then tags out to Ambrose. The Shield works over whichever Matador is in. He hits a dropkick to Rollins and tags out to Sin Cara who knocks Rollins to the floor and follows with a tope. Cara tries going up top, but Rollins kicks him in the head and then tags out to Ambrose. Ambrose hits a superplex before tagging out to Reigns. Reigns hits his running apron dropkick to Sin Cara because he wanted to as we go to a COMMERCIAL BREAK. We come back and Ambrose has Cara in a headlock. Reigns tags in and again gets a big time pop. Headlock by Reigns and Cara tries fighting out, but Reigns pushes him down and hits a clothesline. Ambrose tags in and stomps away on Sin Cara. Diego tags out and comes in with a chop to Ambrose and then hits a springboard crossbody and then a flying headscissors. Diego tries for something off the top, but changes and hits Reigns off the apron and Ambrose rolls him up for two. Torito jumps onto Rollins and Ambrose grabs him, but Diego hits a dive onto Ambrose. Sin Cara and Fernando get ready to deliver stereo topes, but Reigns hits a DOUBLE SPEAR. Ambrose then picks up Diego and Reigns hits a Superman punch. Ambrose tags out to Rollins and Rollins hits the curb stomp. Rollins covers for the win. Great match and pretty much a carbon copy of the Wyatts’ match last week, but the Shield even has a better moveset. Easy 1 for 1.
*Aksana vs. Cameron
We get a closer look at the personality of Cameron. If you haven’t watched Total Divas, (Arianne) Cameron is the crazy one. As cool as Daniel Bryan is on the show, Jey (Jon) Uso is definitely the funniest boyfriend. Aksana baseball slides Cameron to start and is in total control. Cameron hits a Lou Thesz Press that would have killed him if he wasn’t already dead. Cameron hits a series of clotheslines and then a bulldog. She goes for a DDT but Aksana runs her into the corner and then hits a backbreaker. Aksana goes for a suplex, but Cameron hits a small package for the win. Ugh, not very good. 1 for 2.
*Cool Elimination Chamber package that I’m pretty sure played on Raw. As always we get clips of the WWE.com exclusive interview (something doesn’t fit there) and Triple H says he has no agenda against Daniel Bryan and predicts that whoever wins will be the face of the WWE, giving a mocking YES. And now BAD NEWS BARRETT on his scissor lift. He’s not the first person in the arena to be high. However, the US Olympic team sucks. I want BAD NEWS BARRETT on every week.
*Kofi Kingston vs. Curtis Axel w/Ryback
Kofi should start calling himself Mr. Wednesday Night. Kofi gives a shirt to a kid and the kid doesn’t know how to react. I’m too lazy to look but it seems like this match has happened quite a few times on Main Event. Axel controls to start, but Kofi comes back with the power of jumping. Byron notes that Kofi is a ten-time champion in the WWE. Meanwhile, Jake Roberts never held a WWE title. Kofi goes for the Trouble in Paradise, but Axel rolls out and talks with Ryback. Rybaxel decides to enter as a unit, but before they can attack, Mark Henry comes out as we go to COMMERCIAL BREAK. We come back with Mark Henry standing guard for Kofi. Kofi kicks away at Axel’s legs and then hits a back elbow for two. Axel goes for a clothesline and misses but hits a clothesline to the back of Kofi. Axel works a crossface that Kofi battles out of but he tries a cross-body that Axel catches. Axel then slingshots him out of the ring. Ryback approaches Kofi but Henry cuts him off. Axel covers Kofi for two. Kofi hit a kick and then a clothesline. Kingston hits a springboard cross-body for two. Axel hits a backdrop for two. Axel botches going over the top on a clothesline, so Kofi awkwardly kicks him out. Kingston runs against the ropes for something but Ryback trips him up for a DQ. Ryback goes after Kofi, but Henry runs in and fights off Ryback. Kofi then hits his somersault plancha he was looking for on Rybaxel. Sorry but I’m so sick of these guys. I just want them to go away, especially if Ryback isn’t yelling at the internet nerds on the outside. Give me Henry/Ryback and it’d be another story. 1 for 3
Final Thoughts: Bit of a down show this week although the Shield six-man was definitely fun. I would start the show with that and then you go away in my opinion.
