In this episode, we start with WWE talk, including how good SmackDown’s been lately, Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, John Cena, CM Punk and the internet’s unintended consequences, whether we’re buying that the WWE is actually unifying the titles, and more. Then it’s talk about a forgettable TNA show that included segments that desperately needed some editing, but it’s hard to edit when you only have 12 wrestlers on roster.
After the break, I give Rex a little Sporcle-esque quiz, and it’s a great show in SuperBrawl II. Liger-Pillman, Kevin Nash trying his hardest, our differences on tags, bad finishes, and Luger not giving a damn (the show’s a lot better than this description reads).
We name our MVPs and LVPs, and then we announce which show we’re reviewing for next week, WCW Mayhem 2000. Just as we get out of bad wrestling, it pulls us back in.
