ROH returns to Pay Per View

For the first time since their taped supercards five years ago, Ring Of Honor is returning to Pay Per View at Best In The World ’14. The price for the show will be $24.95 and will be broadcast in high definition.

This weekend is the first ever Future Of Honor in Newville, Pennsylvania. The idea behind these shows is to allow ROH tryouts and graduates from the ROH Dojo take on ROH roster members in sanctioned matches.  Let’s have the look at the announced card:
–  ROH Championship match
Adam Cole will defend the ROH Championship against Delirious.
– Proving Ground Challenge
Jay Diesel will swap being head of ROH security to in-ring competitor to see if he can defeat ROH Television Champion Jay Lethal.
Team Benchmark will see if they can upset the former eight-time ROH Tag Team Champions, the Briscoe Brothers.
Mandy Leon will make her ROH and professional wrestling debut against Jenny Rose.
Pyscho Mike combat with Kongo.
Brutal Burgers will also be in action against Moose and Stokely Hathaway .
In Six man action, Jimmy Nuts, Nick Blackwell and Vinny Marsegila will take on Ken Phoenix, Sam Shields and Tim Donst.
Zizou Middoux will take in #AllEgo.
Then the promotion goes onto Baltimore, Maryland and its new home at the William J Myers Pavilion for Second To None. Let’s have a look at this card:
– AJ Styles will go head to head with Michael Elgin
This is a rematch from the television taping from the February in Philadelphia with the future opportunity at the ROH Championship on the line as well.
– Defy or Deny 3
Adam Cole takes on Jimmy Jacobs, Matt Taven and Mark Briscoe.
Can Cole become the third champion to deny any of these men their opportunity at his title for one whole year or will one of the three earn an opportunity at the ROH Championship?
– Charm City Street Fight
Kevin Steen and Cliff Compton will take it to the streets of Baltimore with Outlawz Inc.
Jay Briscoe will have an opportunity against one of the men who cost him victory in Ladder War V in Mike Bennett.
Roderick Strong will take on up and comer ACH.
BJ Whitmer and Adam Page will battle Hanson and Rowe
ReDRagon will square off with Cedric Alexander
Finally, Truth Martini and Jay Lethal will explain their new alliance.

The new tag team of Raymond Rowe and Hanson have signed ROH contracts and are now collectively known as War Machine.

Due to the announcement of Best In The World’14 being live on PPV, the promotion has moved its event from Saturday June 21 to Sunday, June 22. The promotion has said that fans who have purchased tickets for the 21st will be able to use them on the new date and people who can’t attend on Sunday have been asked to return their tickets and a refund will be given.

For all members of the ROH website, last Saturday’s television is up on their Video On Demand Service. It saw the following matches from Supercard of Honor VIII:
Silas Young vs. RD Evans
ROH Television Championship, 2 Out Of Three Falls match between challenger Jay Lethal against the champion, Tommaso Ciampa.

Future Of Honor will be available on the promotions Video On Demand service. No news if it will appear on DVD.

This week’s roll out saw the release of the brand new #BayBay t-shirt for Adam Cole and releases of both nights of the Raising the Bar weekend on DVD.

Until Sunday at 23:59pm eastern, there is a fifteen percent off live DVD events and apparel promotion.

The promotion is in negotiations to have limited edition New Japan merchandise at both Global Wars and War of The Worlds.
