Adam Woodard is a 37-year-old non-traditional student at Western Kentucky University. Some may ask why a 37-year-old would return to college. That's easy! He hopes to show his children that, if they apply themselves, there's nothing they can't achieve. Returning to school at 35 was a terrifying decision, but Adam wants to ensure the second half of his life is better than the first. Along with returning to school, Adam also recently received a late-life autism diagnosis. In the future, Adam hopes to earn his MFA and continue to advocate for autism acceptance.
